cool photo site

From Flickr:
not too crowded

not too crowded, originally uploaded by nicola.

I'm playing with a photo-sharing site called Flickr. It has some really cool utilities for sharing and organizing photos. I really like it. Here's a photoset of some Portugal pictures - you can even view them as a cool slideshow [needs Flash]!

I'll probably be using this in the future for photos and albums. Let me know if you'd like to try it out!

Mike's Pics

mike.jpgHere are some pictures taken by Michael in Portugal - some appear to be out of order, but there are some good ones. I'm still waiting on pictures from Belinda and Alex, but I will probably get them soon. Enjoy!

Portugal pics - finally!

lisbon_pics.jpgWell, I've created some photo albums for Portugal - although I'm missing most of Michael's pictures and all of Belinda's. Also, take note that there are two pages of pictures for each album, the link to the second page is hard to see. Once you select one image, so can click through all of them at hi-res. I've linked to them on the side bar there, but here are the links again:

Carvoeiro 2004
Lisbon 2004

Let me know if you have more pictures to add! And you can contact Dad for higher res for print out.

Ah, Carvoeiro - we never really learned how to pronounce it

casadoalto.jpgSoon everyone will be sending me their Portugal pictures (right?), and I'll be compiling them into an online photo album. Just for posterity, here are some pictures taken by some other people.

Portugal and Euro 2004

euro2004.gifFor those going to Portugal, some disturbing news... apparently British soccer hooligans (who would normally be barred from traveling into Portugal for the European Championships) are flying into Spain and driving across the border - into the Algarve! And many of them are staying in the South.

No border checks on England fans entering Portugal Euro 2004

The Euro 2004 games are over July 4th, and most games are in Lisbon, except for a few matches in Faro (in the Algarve). All of those, however, are over after we arrive. Just in case, you may want to peruse the BBC's article How to be a Football Faker.
